I was on LinkedIn Groups a few days ago and saw a cool “discussion” (like an article) on the Guerrilla Job Search Group. Kevin Donlin, one of the Guerrilla Job Search people, said that we need to stop thinking about things and start doing things. It’s a good article. Here’s a statement that shocked me:
According to surveys cited by David Wessel in The Wall Street Journal, “The unemployed in the United States spend 40 minutes a day looking for work and 3 hours and 20 minutes a day watching TV.”
WOW. I continue to be amazed at how much time we spend in a job search. I think I know why it is so low, more on that later.
