Testimonials

Jeanie, The resume looks awesome! Thank you. Do I need to talk to Peter for you to do the cover letter? Or can I arrange it through you? Mike L.

Hi Jeanie,

The resume looks terrific! Please write the cover letter too.

Many thanks,

Cindy J.

Greg,

You did an awesome job on the resume and cover letter!

Thank you very much.

Please note the changes that I have made (indicated in green) and call to discuss.

Thanks.

Scott D.

Peter,

First of all, thank you very much for referring me to Wendy for writing a resume for me.

She has done a phenomenal job for me. I could not have come up with what she has put together for me.

I just received the final version from her and wanted you to take a quick look at it and see if there was anything that jumped out as unusual.

I am sure, since Wendy has put this together it covers the “qualitative results” and “core competencies” issue you had mentioned after your first review.

I appreciate any and all feedback you have for me on the resume.

Thanks,

Ketan P.

Dear Jeanie,

Hope you are well, just wanted to touch base.

Firstly I have had lots of fantastic feedback about the resume and you maybe be getting a few of my colleagues also investing.

Also I had posted my resume on one site in the Mid East and had some agency wanting to sell me an offer to have my cv more
visible they also do a cv service but said the CV is done so well they would not suggest that service to me.

So thanks for the great work.

Kind Regards,

Avi A.

Tom,

Thanks for your further refinements.

I read it clean again and made the final edits to it – and am copying you for your files.

Thanks again.

Peter – thank you for arranging this time with Tom.

Thanks

Dave D.

Dear Jeanie,

I have now made some minor changes and answered the questions you had asked me using the track changes on word as advised.

I must say that I printed my previous CV and compared to the one you have done and what a difference. I am extremely happy with what you have done.

Having read some of the testimonials on the website, some of your clients have mentioned they dont know how such a fantastic job is done and I am of the same opinion.

I will also be investing in a cover letter once I receive the final CV version and would be happy if you could also prepare that once I make payment.

Finally could you advise how and when you will revamp my Linked in profile.

Thank you so much for a fantastic CV, I am so looking forward to sending this out.

Kind Regards,

Avi A.

Ms. Jeanie,

The CV you created just blew me away–

Never have I been presented in that light with such clarity and force.

Vernon V.

Jeanie,

I answered the question you had on my draft, it is highlighted in yellow.

I am very impressed with the resume and all content is correct.

I also commented on the first page of instructions regarding showing me how to make some adjustments, see attachment for details.

Please move forward with cover letter and change the resume as you see fit regarding the question asked at the bottom of page 1.

Thank you,

Tim N.

Hi Jeanie,

I got the resume. You did a wonderful job. I made the 1 change myself as XXX did not have a website.

Otherwise, what a terrific job you have done. The letter looks great.

Thanks for the superb and professional work.

My best always,

Glenn J.

Dear Jeanie,

I have received the email and resume attachment.I don’t have my lap top with me today and briefly reviewed the attachment on my iPhone.

My initial reaction is WOW!!! And I now clearly understand why a professional should do the resume and you certainly are a professional.

I will re-review once I get my laptop and answer the queries you have asked for.

In the meantime please accept my sincere thanks.

Avi A.

Peter,

Thank you again for helping me out with my resume.

I think Darlene did a great job!

I’ll let you know how the job search goes in xxxxxx.

I really appreciate your kind offer and your help!

Christina B.

Dan,

The resume looks great.

Nice work.

Rob C.

Hi Wendy,

Thank you very much. I’ve reviewed it and I believe it’s final.

Thank you for your hard work on this project, I think it turned out superbly – great job!

Jesse T.

Wendy,

Thank you I read through the cover letter and the bio, I am pleased with both of them.

I may have one question or two related to inputting the bio information into Linked-In. I am assuming I could contact someone for any minor questions or guidance on entering information into Linked-In?

Other than that I am satisfied and consider my order delivered and complete.

Thank you again for all the time and effort that you put into making my resume presentable, current and up to date with current resume trends and styles.

It was great working with you, especially someone from a local town near mine.

Sincerely,

Christopher F.

Hi Wendy,

It looks excellent. I think we can consider it final.

Thank you very much for the great work on this!

Jesse T.

Hi Mr. Newfield:

I’m sure you received an update from Darlene, but just wanted to let you know that my resume and cover letter are completed and they look very,, very good!

You had mentioned for me to touch base with you, once they were completed, in order to discuss any advice you may have for where to start with sending out my resume, possible head hunters, online services, etc., since I haven’t looked for a job in 13 years. Is that still possible?

I’m off from work this Friday. Is it possible to call you at some point to speak for about 10 or 15 minutes? Please let me know. Appreciate it.

Thank you,
Alicia N.

Thanks Jeanie,

I think we have it – I do have one request – I would like one version with the word ‘field’ inserted as shown in the highlight and one version without. If you can send for proofreading one more time we should be good to go.

Thanks again – this looks so much better than the previous version!

Michelle R.

Jane,

Just a quick note to let you know that Becky Felix has completed my resume re-write and her work is fantastic.

Thank you for your help. As I relayed to Becky, I will be in contact with your team in 30 days with an update regarding the level of interest I received.

Thanks again. My experience with your team thus far has been great.

Kind regards,

TJ

Hi Wendy,

I just wanted to update you, my Resume was sent out by an agency to a job opportunity, I was called for an interview screening with the HR Director, she mentioned that my Resume really stood out to her ๐Ÿ™‚

She met with me and a bunch of candidates that day and narrowed her choice down to 3 people (myself included) to return to meet with the directors –

I was the first candidate back and they decided they didn’t want to see anyone else ๐Ÿ˜€ I got an amazing offer and couldn’t be happier.

Just saying a big thank you for marketing me so well on paper.

All the Best,

Dolores G.

Dan,

I am going to make this real easy for you and just say WOW!!!!!!

No changes required, you do great work, I am very satisfied with what you put together.

My next question is who does the overhaul of my Linkedin site? Is that you as well or someone else?

Once again great work and very much appreciated.

Cheers,
Matt A.

Peter-

Thank you again for your help. Very happy with the results!

Top Notch service!

Greg did a super job.

Thank you again,

Karl B.

Hi Peter,

You and your team did a great job updating my resume last year. Jeanie was the writer.

One of the options I did not choose at the time was updating my Linkedin information.

I now would like to have your team update my profile.

What do we need to do to have this done?

Thank you,

Chris W.

Dan,

Thank you for the final draft, I appreciate your efforts.

I have received high praise on the new resume, and I will conduct my first
test-bed to prospective target employers very soon.

This will conclude this process.

Sincerely,

Sean A.

Dear Gregory,

I have read the draft resume and cover letter very carefully and I am very impressed with your service.

Actually, I did not find much to change in both documents.

Kindly, find my additions as track change in the resume. I am ok with cover letter.

Again thank you for your service

Yours sincerely,

Adison L.

Jeannie,

You did a great job making me look like a rock star, you deserve a raise.

Chris F.

Peter, here is my resume with some revisions. Jeanie, great job. Thank you.

Now what are next steps to pushing this out to executive recruiters et al seeking senior marketing/loyalty leaders?

Thank you again.

Deirdre S.

Dear Peter,

I want to write to congratulate you for having Tom Albano on your team.

Tom’s professionalism, expertise, and job excellence is above and beyond anyone’s expectation.

Althought your $500 fee seemed high at the beginning, but after working with Tom and seeing his work, I would send you all my referrals without any reservation.

Thanks again Tom!

Jeanny L.

Greg,

Following up from last week, I wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put in.

I am very happy with the resume and cover letter in their current forms.

I will contact you if I am ever in need of help with updates or additional services.

Brendan L.

Peter,

I wanted to get back in touch with you. I wanted to let you know that after Dan Dorotik completed my resume I was contacted the next day for interviews.

I had 2 job offers the following week.

I am happy to report that I accepted a position as a logistics manager and relocated to Oregon.

None of this would have been accomplished if you had not revamped my resume.

Thank you again,

Tori A.

Peter,

I would like to express that my extreme pleasure with the resume and cover letter Wendy Haylett has developed for me.

I have shown it to several of my peers and each one of them have given me very favorable feedback.

Since she is now finalizing my LinkedIn Bio, I would like to discuss with you the services that you offer to get resumes in the hands of hiring officials and executive recruiters.

Thanks.

Kyle F.

Greg,

I apologize for taking so long with this.

Anyway the resume and cover look good.

Amazing how you can condense all so easily.

Thank you,

Catherine K.

Wendy,

Thank you, you have a wonderful way with people, you made me feel calm and at ease :

And a wonderful way of writing….God has blessed you with many gifts.

I’ll keep you posted.

Best,
Dolores G.

Mr. Newfield,

Hello, I recieved the first draft from Mr. Dorotik and I love it, and don’t feel there really is much need for any changes.

It is well written and it has everything in it.

What is our next step from here?

I sent you an invite to linkedin today. How does the updated on my likedin page work?

I was wondering If I could get a copy of an invoice for tax purposes.

Let me know if you need anything else from me.

Thanks,

Craig M.

Dan,

Minor changes on the resume.

I mean really minor, but I want you to
have my most current document.

Thank you,

Sean E.

Peter:

Darlene did a amazing job on my resume, thank you for appointing me to her.

I am interested in having her do a cover letter as well, but I was wondering if you have a lower rate for some that is currently unemployed? I did pay the full price for my resume, which was worth every penny.

Thank you,

Sean H.

Dan,

You are the best. Tthanks for your time and
patience with me.

Talk to you soon.

Be well.

Patrick A.

Jeanie,

Thank you soo much – you folks have been great! I did achieve employment! WAW.

Best regards,

Dale B.

Freddie,

Receipt confirmed. Already gave you a A+ review via Execunet survey and would definitely recommend you to others.

Until we meet again,

Walter W.

Wow, Darlene, everything looks great!

I really appreciate your work and feel confident in the materials you have written for me.

It was a pleasure to work with you. Thank you again!

Sincerely,

Maureen B.

Hi Greg,

Great job!

I had minimal edits and a few questions/comments embedded in the resume in red.

I also attached an old resume which has my career history going back to 1981. I don’t think 81 to 89 are relevant and make me seem old but not sure if it is required.

Thank you,

Michael DiB.

Hi Jeanie,

I found the way you presented my career GREAT! The format is also excellent!

I have read the resume several times and made some corrections. Please find it attached.

I have removed the Six Sigma Black Belt from the headings. Despite having lead the team of engineers to learn and follow Six Sigma Program, I have not been personally involved in any Six Sigma project as a leader or executer. I know what is Six Sigma about but would not be able nor qualified to carry on Six Sigma projects. Should I keep it there?

The resume is very open and does not hide any clues about me, my former and previous employers.

I believe we are close to the end version, hope you can review it soon.

Best regards,

Carlos P.

Jeanie,

Wow. Quick glance. Won’t have time to see until weekend.

VERY NICE.

Thank you.

Deirdre S.

Dear Jane,

Thank you so very much. I am excited about this and will let you know of any bounce backs or other items.

Fingers crossed.

You guys have been great, and I’ve been very very happy with my experience.

Best,

Greta Z.

Dan,

I just want to say thank you for all of your work. This cover letter is great.

I have already got an interview with the resume you generated from all of my scraps.

Thanks again,

Pat C.

Thank you Jeanie.

This looks good – I appreciate your efforts.

I also have contracted for LinkedIn Bio update. Will you also be doing this?

Regards,

Jackie B.

Dan,

I am pleased to say that I have no requests or suggestions regarding the cover letter and LI profile.

Your instructions on how to use the profile at LI were correct and comprehensive, and I have used slightly modified versions of the cover letter (tailoring them to the position, as expected) twice.

Although I believe I know the answer, just to be sure, there are no protections on any of the documents, correct? Hence, I can perform my own modifications should I wish to do so.

Perhaps it is a question for Peter, but there was another item that I purchased, something to do with the formatting/file type in which the documents exist. The purpose was to prevent me from being stymied if uploads and/or copy and paste options weren’t allowed by the host. Know what I mean? If one of you could shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

Other than the above, I consider the process complete, and am pleased with the results.

Regards,
Ken H.

Jeanie,

This looks great !!!

What is the cost for a cover letter?

Terrell K.

Dear Pierre,

Many thanks for your great work.

The application for ABB is sent ๐Ÿ™‚

Wish you a great week and kind regards,

Janine A.,

Hi Wendy,

Wow, this resume makes me appear like a high powered QA executive. I don’t think that I every really realized that I have accomplished so much. I would hire me ๐Ÿ™‚

I have updated the draft that you sent and the corrections are highlighted in red.

Please don’t hesitate to recah out if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Barbara B.

Peter,

Jeanie Oscarson has completed all my documents. Everything looks great, and Jeanie did a great job.

With each document I made only minor edits on the drafts she submitted..she really nailed it the first time!

My LinkedIn profile is updated, and I’ve been using my new resume and bio.

It’s early, but activity seems to have picked up.

I’ve received nice comments from colleagues who have reviewed my LinkedIn and new resume, and I tell them about your company.

Next time, I won’t wait so long to update my c.v.

Thank you!–

Mark P.

Dear Dan,

Thank you very much, indeed, the LinkedIn Bio is fine for me.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the good job
done.

I really appreciated, once again thank you.

Best Regards

Ed K.

Peter, Gregory,

The last version of the letter and curriculum did meet my expectations and is looking great.

Thank you for your interesting compiliation of the data into a new design – I will now immediatly test it and further recommend you.

Booking had been done as agreed from my
Kind regards

Markus B.

Becky.

Thanks so much for all your hard work

You have done an outstanding job!!

John B.

Hi Peter, Jeanie,

I was wondering whether you got a chance to go thru the previous email sent to you and am assuming that you went thru the document thoroughly since I am confident that we have finally reached a point where I don’t foresee major changes except maybe minor changes if needed or recommend.

Frankly In my opinion the resume look great and honestly request your final opinion on the resume as you are the authority and specialized in this field and sure you have gone thru thousand of such resumes like mine.

Further there were many reason why I delayed the process of finalizing or preparing the resume since I wanted to be through or make sure and also this was the first time in my entire life/careers where I needed to prepare a resume or do so.

More so ever and as you are aware by now that I have always been self employed and have never needed to prepare such a document for reasons unknown but in fact do realize the importance of having one ,and was a great learning lesson and did open my eyes when you do write down all the achievements in your life /career.

Frankly it was about time and truly it’s outcome is unmeasurable and the fear and curiosity I have had for many years are finally coming together.

I do hope you understand my concern and would sincerely request you treat this as if the resume were for you.

Once again thank you for your help and waiting in anticipation

Sam M.

Hello Peter,

Tammy has done an amazing job with my resume.

I would like a cover letter done as well and have submitted the fee on-line this morning.

Thank you!

Anita S.

Hi Jeanie,

This is absolutely great ! Thank you so much!

Just one comment: you don’t mention anything in the letters about my background of CFO and VP Internal Audit. Is it on purpose?

Thank you again. I am very happy with the quality of your deliverables.

Cheers,

Frederic R.

Hi Jeanie,

This looks great and I think is ready (found some small formatting improvement areas—would you mind checking one more time all is OK?).

Would you start working on the Linkedin profile and cover note?

Thank you so much for all the great work.

Laura B.

Wendy,

The resume is very good thank you, consider me a happy customer . . . I would like you to write / update my linked in Bio — how does that process work?

Peter, thanks for the professional support provided by your organization.

I enjoyed working with both Greg and Wendy, they both produced the quality adverstised.

A special thanks to Wendy for listening. I could have used her on my staff when I ran the Office of CIO at xxxxxx, we had a difficult time finding anyone who understood how to write with the right tone / style.

Lynn E.

Hello Peter,

I am in the process of finalizing my resume with Tammy, she was patient and very helpful!

This being the case, I am also interested in your Cover Letter and LinkedIn Makeover services, please can you please send me a quote for both services.

Best regards,
Aidan S.

Peter, Dan,

Thanks for your help on this. I used this resume in a few of the job applications, and was quickly contacted by HDR Engineering. I interviewed with them on Friday, and accepted a job offer this morning.

I’ll have a 45 minute commute out to Ann Arbor every day, which isn’t super exciting, but I deemed it worth it for this job. All of the opportunities closer in to Detroit had responded that

I was overqualified for their available position. The exception to that was in the automotive sector, which I wanted to avoid altogether.

I start on January 30th as a Substation Project Engineer at HDR. As I already have some background in management and business, they’re planning to give me a small staff of engineers to oversee once I get up to speed on the work.

Thanks again, and I’ll let you know how the job goes once I start.

Regards,

Josh B., PE

Hi Freddie,

I reviewed the changes and everything looks fine.

I wanted to thank you for a project very well done. I feel very good about the final product and you have made some nice upgrades.

In particular I like the value proposition statement and the up front ‘synthesis’.

It was a pleasure working with you.

Best regards,

Niels F.

Peter,

You guys (Jeanie) just finished my resume last month… Definitely a “Mercedes” as you promised.

She is working on my LinkedIn profile now.

Thank you and happy new year!

Cliff B.

Dear Freddie,

Happy New Year! I hope you and your family had wonderful holidays!

I wanted to thank you for helping with my resume. I think it looks terrific and I am optimistic that it will help me open some doors and land a promising position.

It was a pleasure working with you and again, appreciate all of your time, efforts and support.

My very best wishes for the New Year,

Lynnsie P.

Peter,

I received my bio and letter from Jeanie Oscarson. This service was not something I had planned on obtaining; having had my resume done by a writer at The Ladders; but after reading Katherine’s email and the personal attention I received from Annette on the telephone, I decided to pursue it.

Jeanie’s bio and letter far exceeded my expectations. It is astounding that she has captured on paper my abilities in a way that has renewed my confidence for this journey.

I have asked Jeannie to work on my resume.

Would you please let me know the price and forward me the worksheet you use for resumes?

Thank you all,

Lisa W.

Greg,

Great job, I would hire me:)

A couple of changes I saw was the opeing stores from the ground up both stores we up and running up one ws lossing money the other one was near bankrupty.

Thanks again for the help

Guy B.

Wendy,

This resume ROCKS! I am getting some action. Monday 12/5/11 God answered my prayers, and I got an emergency temp assignment for Carolina Legal Associates.

This is the first day I returned to work since 7/12/11! Talk about nerve wracking wreck! Today 12/6/11 was a completely different Karyn, all my work skills returned, my legal filing skills returned, my confidence returned, and I was asked to return Wednesday 12/7/11!

Thank you so very much for your talent and support!

I will keep you posted as to how this progresses.

Hugs,

Karyn M.

Wendy,

All I can say is WOW! My jaw dropped as I looked at what you had researched heavily and put together. Really stunned as to your accuracy and creativity.

I took the time to look this over three different times, and put in notes onto the draft sheet.

I know this is Thanksgiving Week and all will be quiet with the job hunts, etc. I’ve already checked into all three agencies this morning and don’t expect any miracles.

I would like to thank you so very much for all the time you have put into this resume.

I hope you, your family, and your friends have a great Thanksgiving Week!

Hugs,

Karyn M.

Hey Tom,

This is good. I will let Jane know that I am happy with the final product.

I look forward to seeing the Linkedin Profile.

Thanks,

Gina H.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for hard work, I love it,

I did order cover letter (can you verify with Jane?), I only add the word SAP (in red), because that’s my expertise.

Let me know the packages price for thank you letter and corp bio.

Thanks,

Glen H.

Hi Gregory

Thanks for a wonderful job.

I didn’t recognize it at first.

I did some revisions in red as requested.

If you want to call me to discuss, please do.

Thanks again.

Look forward to the next version.

Marilyn S.

Hello Jane,

The resume and LinkedIn Profile Wendy wrote are perfect, thank you.

I updated my Linked-In yesterday and what a difference.

I have asked for recommendations as well.

I didn’t before because I wasn’t comfortable the way my profile looked not very professional but not it looks AWESOME!

Thanks,

Mike N.

Peter,

I just wanted to let you know that Tom did a wonderful job creating my LinkedIn profile.

It was different from my resume so it would be compelling for people to read in addition to my resume, which is fabulous.

Plus the cut and paste capability he provided made it very easy to update on the LinkedIn site.

Thanks,

Jim P.

Kathy,

I wanted to thank you. You did a wonderful job on my resume and Linked In Profile.

I hope that you’re feeling better.

Michele S.

Dear Peter,

Thank you for the e-mail and the outstanding information.

I’m originally from Venezuela and I can tell you for a fact that I have never been exposed to such a detailed yet concisive critique ever.

Congratulations on this fine art, because I truly believe that to do what you do in your business, it is definitely an art.

I’m currently committed with a client, and it may be a few months before I can indulge myself with a brand new CV, but you have my word that it’ll be with Career-Resumes that I will definitely deposit my confidence very soon.

Thank you again for the outstanding critique and for contacting me. I have added you in LinkedIn.

All the best.

Rafael C.

Dear Wendy,

I would like to thank you for a job well done.

I am happy with the output and will take this as the final draft of my resume.

Arya N.

Tammy,

I wasn’t sure what to expect but, I like it!

Having been on both sides of the table, I was well aware that my old resume was dry and unappealing.

When I read through this new one, it seems like a new person! More alive and interesting, with a better depth and breadth of experiences.

This one, even I would probably call in.

I wasn’t sure about the ‘small restaurant’ example; it shows variety and breadth (and, perhaps, some humanity) but might diminish the larger, more corporate assignments.

I gave it, and the quote, to you almost as a dare and you included it. You’re the expert so, let’s give it a shot!

I made a few technical corrections; not your mistakes at all.

I think I would love for you to do a cover letter to go with this!

Thanks!

Rich S.

Jane,

I don’t think I had a chance to contact you about my resume.

I was exceptionally pleased. Tom’s work exceeded expectations. He was insightful, timely and very professional.

I have given your info to several friends who also would like professional resume service.

Thanks and best,
Min A.

Jeanie,

Thanks for your great work.

Vvery pleased with the outcome and the way it’s been conducted.

Kind regards

Keith P.

Freddie,

Thank you for a great job on my resume and cover letter.

I can’t imagine how you are able to sort through so much information and put it together so effectively? You really told my story well.

Sally B.

Hello Dan, Good Morning!

I hope you are doing OK.

Here is some statistics before and after you helping me with Linked in profile. After the changes you have made, the appearance in search increased 100%.

I thought you would like to know it.

Have a great weekend.

Best Regards,

Luis S.

Wendy,

Thanks so much for delivering and promised. Please review the attachment with additional information.

I love it! I did have to read it multiple times, and will continue to review overnigth but I am very happy with the results. I will review and provide complete feedback by EOD wednesday.

Thanks!!

Hugo N.

Wendy,

Whoo-hoo !!!!

It is an extreme pleasure for me to work with extraordinary people, your work fits this precisely.

I was impressed as I even first glanced over the draft, then further as I read my quotes you incorporated into the headers. Outstanding.

The next read I saw how you seemlessly took the ramble of facts I provided into a smooth read with great flow and impact. I especially liked the facts you wove into the tapestry of my experience.

Re-reads 2 to 4 also impressed me as I honed my scrutiny to the details

I would not have had the vision, guts, or objectivity to produce this document.

I will now final-proof and put it to my committee of experts (my wife, son and daughter-in-law) for their whoo-hoo as well.

At this point I am very happy with your (our) work. I will get my response back to you tomorrow AM.

With appreciation and thanks,

Jeff N.

Peter,

my resume is done and I am very happy!

I know I had also paid to have the Linked In bio done by you.

What are the next steps in doing this?

Thanks,

Pauline D.

Hi Tom,

I’ve reviewed the resume and LinkedIn bio– both are excellent. I am extremely please with the results– they exceed expectations.

One item I would like to add is– in September, I will be testing for the MA Real Estate Salesperson’s license and an unrestricted MA Construction Supervisor’s license. Would you be able to send me an updated version of both documents with the appropriate wording and placement of these certifications?

This is the only change I require.

Thank you and best,

Min A.

Greg,

That looks great!

I just had a 2 things that I did forget to put in there and you may want to leave them out.

Also I only have word 2007 should I get a different version?

Thanks,

Lee H.

Greg:

Thanx for the speedy turnaround… Will have any revisions awaiting you before you return from your time off.

Your product is fantastico!!! I trust this tested you as it tested me – the outcome is wonderfully done.

Bob G.

Hello Peter,

I just got my resume back from Dan, last Friday. It looks great.

I would like to know who will take care of the cover letter, and Linked In profile.

Best regards.

Luis S.

Good evening Mr. Faherty,

Thank you for your assistance on my resume.

After reviewing it I must say that it is a document that stands head and shoulders above any resume that I have had to read as a manager.

I’ll keep you posted!

Michael C.

Kathy,

Ok…now we are alligned.
The resume is perfect.

I’m going to start my search inmediately.

Very well done.

Thank you very much!!!

Ricardo R.

Wendy,

It looks great.

I think we are set with the final product. Thank you so much for all of your help with this. I really appreciate it.

Now I have no excuses in taking the working towards the next step careerwise!!!!

With much appreciation,

Susie B.

Greg,

It makes me want to hire me!

Very nice. Im not sure I would change any of it. I just hope it makes the phone ring.

BTW. I am trained in Advanced Parts Inventory Management by a ADP Company

Maybe we should include this

Thanks,

Clary L.

Hi Dan,

I received the document and I’m significantly impressed.

Thank you very much.

Natalie S.

Tom,

Fabulous job. You did well in capturing the exciting parts of the career. Let me explain some of the changes and the motivations.

I only modified the Resume and the Letter.

After you have had a chance to review, you can accept the changes, tell me not to make them, or we can discuss further the reasoning.

Stephan P.

Thanks, Pierre,

The resume is very fine. I agree with your judgement on the length.

I have written it myself many times over the last five or six years and find shortening it omits too much of what could be valuable insight to the breadth of my career experience. …

Ken C.

Dear Peter,

Please allow me to give you a brief feedback in regards to Tammy’s work on my CV & cover letter.

I am very pleased with what I have received from her. She did an excellent job and
over-exceeded my expectations by far. She met the previously communicated delivery dates, was friendly, clear in her messages and fully committed to deliver outstanding work.

I also felt she did all that with a genuine “service to others” motivation. If I would have to rate her between 1 and 10 she would get a 15 from me.

Also the interaction I had with Jane was excellent and it seemed to me that both Jane & Tammy work very well together.

Many thanks for the great service.

Regards.
Boro P.

PS: One of my former colleagues will place an order for your services next week.

Dan,

Thank you for your preparation of my resume and cover letter.

I am please with both and appreciate the time it took you to pull it together.

Sharon H.

Pierre,

The resume is great. Made one or two minor changes.

Need to think about cover letter in the context of the resume. Don’t expect there will be much demand on your time but will send in the next week if I need your help.

Regarding my search. I was waiting for the completion of the resume since I am still working. This may change shortly so my search efforts will become very active over the next month.

Thanks for everything. Great job!

Rgards,

Earl L.

Hi Greg:

First, thanks a lot for an excellent write up. I think it was bang on target.

While reviewing the document, I have made a few changes. I have used Track Changes feature in Word to highlight these changes.

I think we are pretty close to the final version.

Thanks for your help. This has been a terrific artifact. I have enjoyed working with you.

Regards,

Chandramouli M.

Hi Becky,

Thank you for the great resume your sent me last week!

The document is very important in my job search and I appreciate your contribution.

Manju A.

Hello Greg,

Thanks for the revision, and I think we have a winner.

I’ve made some final edits (added ‘Officer’ to my military line, removed an errant comma). Feel free to wave me off the word changes if you had a specific purpose in mind.

I appreciate your help and am looking forward to giving the resume a trial run.

If you had any specific insights or advice regarding my resume, I’d appreciate the feedback.

Otherwise, thanks again for a job well done and I am off to hunt for that senior IT position.

Joel H.

Pierre,

Thank you so much. I have read the draft very carefully, and made note on some corrections to work through.

This afternoon I leave for a one week vacation to France (where communication to the US is relatively expensive) and suggest that we plan on my sending a more complete response sometime the following week.

In general the writing is excellent, the look is good (although the type size is smaller and the margins smaller than I had in mind initially -perhaps to due to the length of certain lines).

I also was thinking two pages, but see that three does seem to work out OK. Guidance is to include details for the last ten years, but I also think the earlier experience does communicate more about my background – your call.

I really appreciate your good work on this, and your excellent message below.

I feel very good about the progress made already, and look forward to completing it the week after next.

I like the cover letter very much – I welcome your further suggestions on using this letter with recruiters.

Many thanks,

Carol L.

Peter,

Thank you for the professional services of your firm. I enjoyed working with Jeanie Oscarson.

I have one request, could you please review my new LinkedIn profile in two areas. First, is the content appropriate for my background…it feels like a little to much content.

Second, I have a consulting firm. What is the best way to highlight this firm either within my personal profile or should I create a separate profile and link to it?

Thanks very much!

Dave M.

Peter,

My resume is looking great; will continue to work with Jeanie on changes and the final draft.

I am interested in your firmcreating cover letter and LinkedIn bios. What is the typical turnaround?

John P

Hi Pierre,

In one word….WOW!

This is amazing! I am so grateful for your work in doing my resume! WOW!

I did make a few additional notes and responses to your comments. I have attached it for your review.

Thank you so much,

Bob S.

Becky,

I just wanted you to know that in this first week of searching with my new resume call backs from online submissions are up 500% and I received 15 unsolicited inquiries ) up from zero over three months of looking on my own).

Thank you and feel free to quote me!

Bruce W.

Pierre:

I think it looks fine; much better than my attempt. I guess the real test will be in the next few weeks.

Thank you for your prompt attention, patience and assistance as we dealt with computer and file problems.

Good luck.

Jeff O.

Hi Peter,

I just wanted to let you know that I think Tom did an excellent job with my resume (he is in the final stage of completing it). Thank you!

Also, I am interested in having my LinkedIn profile updated (I let Tom know via email as well). What steps do I need to take to get that done?

Thank you,

Michael P.

Hi Jane,

Per our discussion today please find attached the proper and final versions of my resume, cover letter and text version of resume. I have verified all three.

The cover letter still has place holders for (Company Name), and I assume will need to be adapted for mass submission.

As we discussed on Friday, please create the text version of my cover letter and email back to me.

Finally, I believe we are ready for the mass submission. It’s an exciting day, and I appreciate your help and that of Tammy. It’s been a pleasure working with you!

Regards,

Andrew G.

These look great, Jane.

Thank you – I am all set and very pleased with the service.

Peter K.

Wendy,

Thank you very much again for answering all my questions patiently and thoughtfully.

Yes the answers are helpful and makes sense. I apprecaite all your work and support! I did apply to half a dozen positions last night using the cover letter and the final resume “to get in the line”.

We can consider my order delivered and final. If I have any important question regarding my resume or cover letter in the near future, I may ask through an email…

It was pleasant working with you through out this process. If you need me to provide feedback for your work to anyone, please let me know. It would be my pleasure to do it.

Have a nice day,

Kashyap S.

Greg,

I’ve attached my suggested modifications with Track Changes.

Thanks for great job!

Steve C.

Greg,

Thank you again for your efforts – the document looks great.

Attached is my draft of the resume with red lines. I added a few key complimentary concepts, along with some general edits.

I can work with the cover letter as is, changing the bullet points as each job warrants… so no proposed changes.

I very much look forward to receiving your response.

Regards,

Peter K.

Hi Kathy,

There isn’t much to say but great job.

Attached is my resume, which I made minor changes to (I am not sure if I even need to send it back to you..or what else is there for you to do..so please advise).

I am very pleased with how well you were able to articulate my work experience in my resume.

I absolutely love the cover letter, and now think and hope with this professional introduction, I will be able to get more interviews.

Again, thank you and I do appreciate your assistance and your patience.

Kamara S.

Hi Kathy,

Thank you – this looks fantastic – amazing how you make me sound. I definately see the huge benefit in having this done by a professional writer.

Attached are the edits I have on the resume. As I read this, I realized that there are a couple of things that are missing – namely my experience with the SAP ERP system and my expertise in Excel – now it may be a given, which is why these are not spelled out – so I thought I would just bring that up.

Would that be something to include in the experience high lights? I have added these in on the attached, but would like your opinion as to if they should stay or not

Thank you,
Mark R.

Freddie,

THANK YOU for all this excellent work!

I am very pleased with the quality and speed of your work- and I am spreading the word with my network on your great work.

Thank you very much,

Joe S.

Hi Peter,

I just wanted to let you know that Ken Moore has completed the final form of my resume and cover letter.

Thank you for the excellent work Ken did.

Ken and I interacted once by phone at my request after I completed the Worksheets and before he wrote the first draft. Ken completed the first draft resume and cover letter in a timely manner, offered me some insights, and awaited my comments/questions.

I replied with my comments and some questions. Ken replied back with some additional insights in answer to my questions, and attached a fresh resume and cover letter reflecting my comments and questions. He awaited any further comments, which I gave today, with my agreement that the resume and cover letter are in final form.

It was a pleasure working with Ken. I feel that he articulately and accurately condensed my formerly 3-page resume down to 2-pages, and gave me fresh insights regarding the current form of resume writing in the industry.

I can’t wait to try out my new resume on some future opportunities.

Best regards,

Kevin S.

HI Freddie and Peter,

I wanted to let you both know that I have accepted a job offer here in New Orleans.
Thank you so much for all of your help.

All the best,

Tiffany P.

Wendy,

The only thing that needs to be changed is in the last sentence you have “at missionaries”. Should it be “to missionaries”? I can fix the Word files but not sure that I can edit the PDF. Otherwise, it is perfect.

I have always considered myself pretty good at The King’s English, but you my dear, have mastered it!

Thank you for all of your help. I really feel like you went above and beyond your duty. I had a lot of reservations about having someone else help me with my resume. It seemed every day that I was getting an email about one service or another.

I can assure you that I picked the right service for the job.

You do outstanding work and I am happy to write a testimonial or reference any time you like.

I hope the Easter Bunny is good to you,

Michael B.

Hi Greg,

As advised, I have reviewed your document, and made some minor changes. I have used MS Word Track Change to highlight these changes. Pls feel free to re-edit if you think these changes are not reqd.

Your version looks great, and really puts all the relevant data in a nice compelling storyline.

Thanks for your work on this.

Rgds,

Shane O’N.

Hi Greg,

Please see my attached revised documents. It looks very good!

I really appreciate your help on my resume. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Please confirm you have received this documents.

Thanks!

Sarah C.

Mr. Newfield,

I will get back to Dan Dorotik.

It looks great!

John R.

Hi Greg,

Here are my revisions/comments. How soon do you imagine you would have it back to me?

Thanks so much. This was phenomenal.

You managed to take something “all over the place” into something very cohesive!

Michele F.

Hi Peter:

Jeanie did an excellent job with updating my resume. I will starting a new position with a new company soon. I am leaving my current company where I worked there for over 8 years. I will be turning in my two weeks notice on Monday. My new role will be Director of Admissions.

Part of my package, i requested to have my linkedin profile updated. I wanted to follow up with you to find out when this will be completed.

Thank you.

Rachel J. G.

Wendy,

It was a pleasure working with you. You have given me a profile that I believe has a competitive edge in the market place.

I will keep you posted with the outcome.

Once again many thanks for your help and I look forward to work with you again in near future.

All the best!

Sanjaya S.

Dan,

Thank you for the draft, I will look it over and send any comments back today.

It looks fantastic!

Ryan M

Dear Mr. (Dan) Dorotik,

What a wonderful letter, resume and Lindedin response. I really appreicate the work you have done for me and my career.

Oh yes I love what you have done and I love the letter…

Thanks
Deborah J.

Hi Dan,

How are you? Attached is the questionnaire for my updated resume. I’ve also attached a spreadsheet I developed at my most recent job that details my specific job functions. You may be able to pull some additional info from that.

You did a bang up job with my last resume, it got me in a lot of doors.

I look forward to a repeat on the update. If you have any questions please contact me at the number below. I know the normal turn time is 5-7 days, but I already have two leads waiting for a resume, so your expediency on this would be greatly appreciated. (Peter said depending on your workload you might be able to turn it in a couple of days.)

Thanks again,

Elicia R.

Hello Dan:

It’s good. I had already done the changes to my draft and had sent a couple of dozen applications.

Today I got my first invitation for an interview which is quite an accomplishment considering how few apps I sent.

Thanks.

Hiram T.

Dan,

Thank you for the wonderful job done on my resume.

I feel that it clearly better represents me and the work I have done in Education.

I am ready for my next move.

I appreciate you work in this matter; I could have never thought of or listed the comments on my resume the way you have.

Thanks,

Deborah J.

Greg,

Thank you for your work and your explanations, Gregory.

I consider now your work done. thanks a lot for your kind collaboration.

Regards.

Gianni L.

Greg,

I have made just a couple of corrections for you to change.

I will be calling you tomorow to ask you a simple question that is easier to ask then type.

The resume looks great.

Thanks again.

Phillip N.

Dan,

I know I was a pain in the butt, but thank you.

I am going through it now and it looks fantastic.

I will let you know by Friday if there is anything I would like to add.

Thank You once again.

Patrick McQ.

Greg,

Thanks – attached is document with a few comments/questions.

This looks great.

Thanks,

Jeff S.

Greg,

Thanks for your work and for your candid advice.

You are a true professional.

Tim K.

Jeanie,

This is final!

Excellent work. You may be hearing from other friends of mine. Everyone has been very impressed with your work.

Cheers!

Dustchin R.

Dear Pierre,

This is outstanding. I agree with your assessment and like what you have done.

I only see one small change I would like to make in the “core compentencies” section and have indicated it on the file in bold red font. …

Thanks for all your help.

Von L.

Dear Pierre:

Okay, I feel like I have thrown a lot at you. I do need to say this.

That the resume you designed is already a million times better than what I had.

I really appreciate your help. I was so stuck with my resume I felt paralyzed.

Thank you so much for all of your help. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Sarah T.

Hi, Greg,

The Both Resume and cover letter looks great.

I add my comments in track changes mode. Please let me know your thought.

Thanks,

Chuck X.

Hi Dan,

I’ve gone through my resume and it really does look great!

I’ve tweaked just few minor things, but overall I love it and am very happy with the end result!

Money well spent!

Many thanks for all of your hard work!

Kryse K.

Dear Greg:

Tom is out of town and he asked me to review the revisions on the resume, cover letter and your re-typed reference sheet.

There are only a few more revisions that need to be done on the resume.

Thank you very much and you did a wonderful job.

Please send the revised resume to my e-mail since Tom is out of town.

Thank you very much,

Eileen W.

Hi Greg,

This looks good. I have attached a version with a some proposed changes that I’d like to incorporate

Again thanks,

Alan F.

Jane, I am happily employed in Alaska as the CHRO for Alaska Communications; thanks in large part to you and your team.

A colleague of mine is leaving the company for good personal reasons (it happens up here in the far north) and he’s a great performer and person.

He is looking for top shelf service in resume construction, his LinkedIn profile and making a big splash with the key search firms.

I told him about Peter/you and the services his firm offers.

Specifically, how would you like me to direct him to your team? He is a senior level financial person.

Foster W.

Hi Greg,

Thank you so much for the updates.

The resume looks great and it does not need any more edits.

I have one final question regarding the cover letter. Is it possible to replace the word “logical” with some other word? The word “logical” just sounds a bit arrogant to me.

Thanks,

Rajnesh B.

Greg –

Great work! I really like the way you put this together.

Attached are both files with track changes. If you do not agree with any of my changes (English is my 2nd language), please let me know. I put a few questions in the doc as well.

Thanks,

Adriaan B.

Hi Jeanie,

Thanks for your great work and effort on this! Its looking very good.

I have made some changes/edits in Track Change mode in the attached version for your review and acceptance.

I look forward to receiving the next and possibly final version for my review and signoff.

One question: After the version has been finalized, proofread and reviewed for formatting, would I be receiving the final copy as both Word and PDF versions, or only as a Word doc…?.

Thanks,

Vineet W.

Freddie,

Definitely. My expectation is not to engage you daily or even once a week! ๐Ÿ™‚

As you mentioned, I’ll appreciate your feedback/change if any major changes need to made based on my responses.

Thanks again for creating a resume which I feel a much better representation of me than anything I had in my earlier resumes.

Thanks,

Chandan A.

Wendy,

This looks great.

Thanks for the patience. You are easy to work with!

I appreciate all you’ve done.

All the best,

Chris M.

Greg,

Thank you!

The documents look good. No further revisions/edits are needed.

I am ready for you to send the resume in the alternate formats.

Thanks & Regards,

Santhosh A.

Wendy,

This is a brilliant resume that’s made me delighted with my prospects and has convinced me that I can indeed find a place for me in today’s journalism world.

You’re a dear, and I thank you so very much!

I really can’t wait to start spamming you with the updates on what this resume has allowed me to do!

Do with it whatever you will- you are so talented at this- I’m deeply touched and so thankful to you!

Jamila B.

Thanks Jeanie,

Great work!

Look forward to working with you again.

Mark H.

Hi Peter,

My resume is now done.

I clearly see the difference in how my past is now presented verses before.

I am glad I spent the money.

Tom R.

Good Afternoon Jeanie and Peter,

Happy New Year. Hope you both have had a great holiday break and wish you all the success for 2011.

Thanks to your CV writing skills I was invited to several job interviews and got two job offers.

I wanted to see if you can help with updating my resume to reflect my current job that I have been in for 3 months.

Can you please tell me how much it would cost?

Regards,

Rene K.

Dear Peter,

I just want to wish you massive success in 2011.

Also I want you to know that I was so taken by Jane Quick’s assistance with my CV.

Her imput and feedback set me up for the massive success in 2011.

Cheers,

Izabela L.

Pierre:

Glad to hear you are getting over your cold.

I have attached a document (version ‘b’) with a couple of highlighted areas to get your opinion on a few areas. I’m not adamant about the changes – – and really want to bounce them off you to get your thoughts (the changes are highlighted in yellow with a parenthetical explanation next to it).

Overall, this looks really great. I am generally impressed with the looks of this. …

I would like the opportunity to look over your changes one more time and sleep on it a day or two before we finalize hopefully in a day or two.

Thanks!

Patrick J.

Greg,

I hope that you had an enjoyable and happy holidays. I think the resume looks great and I am good with it.

Let me know the next steps for the linkedin profile and what else you need from me.

Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Duane K.

Hi Peter,

I just remembered that I didn’t call to confirm start date with the Center for Disabilities.

My start date is Jan. 10, 2011. I will be going in this Wednesday, Dec. 22nd to do new hire paperwork.

I am really excited for the challenge a fresh start in the new year.

Donna did a great job.

Talk to you soon and Happy Holidays.

Jude G.

Hi Peter,

I took the resume service from you in 2009.

Recently I quit my job and moved to lexington, MA for family reasons.

I used the updated resume and applied for a few jobs & got a call back from most of them.

I just wanted to thank your company for a job well done.

Regards,

Samina M.

Peter,

Dan has written me a great resume and I’m now ready to move to the next step…cover letter, Internet postings, linkedin, Ryze, Ecademy, etc.

Can you give me some guidance on how to proceed with those tasks.

I’ve also found a couple of interesting jobs for which I’d like to develop the cover letter quickly so that I can respond to them within the next week or so.

Look forward to hearing from you and thanks again for a great resume.

Ed F.

Thank you Peter for your team’s help in preparing my resume.

I’d like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn.

Partha B.

Mr. Newfield

Thank you so much for providing me with such a fantastic resource that will allow me to enter the workforce with the best possible chance of obtaining a great employment position.

The resume Kathy wrote looks great! I can’t wait to see how many doors are opened to me because of your assistance.

Thanks again!

Alex R.

Dear Darlene,

Thank you for the revised resume and for your suggestions and advice. The resume looks great.

I also added what department (school) at SDSU that I was an adjunct and graduate teaching associate since SDSU has many departments (schools) under its umbrella and I feel it was important to be specific.

If I’m wrong, please let me know and I’ll adjust it accordingly.

Thanks again for everything. This process has definitely been a learning experience for me, so thank you for your patience.

Robin G.

Hi Peter,

I just want to thank you for the extraordinary work Dan Dorotik did on your recommendation.

I am sure that he has not just helped my career but changed the future direction of my life by opening up new opportuniities and possibilities.

Regards,

Stewart F.B.

Kathy,

I have made a few very minor changes to the Resume.

You have prepared an incredible resume for me.

THANKS,

Dennis F.

Hi Jeanie,

Just wanted to touch base with you this morning. I love the resume!

There are a few pieces of information that I need to gather for you (like a list of coursework to insert) and a couple of tweeks I need to make to some of the items. I will gather all of that information for you and get it to you this weekend.

I am away on business right now so I’ll have to wait until I get home tonight to put it all together

Thanks very much Jeanie. Talk to you soon.

Kathy C.

Hi, Jeanie,

I’ve completed the reading. Excellent job! There was just one minor edit which I’ve already made myself.

Do we have to do anything else about it or are we completed? If so, thanks a lot. And, sure, it was a pleasure to work with a skilled professional.

Be in touch in case you travel to Moscow one day. Promise you a good dinner.

Wish you happy holidays,

Kirill P.

Hi Jane,

What an outstanding CV analysis you just did.

By all means I see the value and agree with your quote for a new CV.

I’d like to ask if you could include in the “package” instructions for adjusting my LinkedIn home page according to the new CV.

I’ll wait your next steps instructions, including payment.

Best regards,

Luiz C.

Hi Jeanie,

Thank you for the resume drafts!

My compliments, professional and concise.

I will have suggestions for a few additions/changes on which I would like your feedback.

Will forward by the weekend.

Thanks,

Greg S.

Hi Greg,

You have done an excellent job.

I don’t think I want to correct anything. In any case I have pointed some things in red.

Please consider them.

Best regards,

Tryfon C.

Greg,

Nice job thank you, wrap it up.

Ted P.

Hello Jeanie.

I am very satisfied with your new construction of my resume! You can proceed to complete.

Were you also assigned my LinkedIn page?

Thanks,

Tim F.

Hi Greg,

Thank you so much for working on my resume.

Your version is far superior to what I had.

I understand now the difference between an “achievement-based” and a “task-based” resume.

Rajnesk K.

Good day Peter,

I want to thank you for the excellent service you and your company provided me in my quest for a more aggressive resume . Kathy did a wonderful job in writing my resume, cover letter and Linkedin bio.

Thank you again for your assistance.

Sincerely,

Tim G.

Wendy:

I want to send a short note and let you know that I am very pleased with the content and format.

I can tell you that the CV looks very professional and I appreciate your help.

Please treat this email as my approval for the work done.

Regards,

Sundar R.

Freddie,

Thank you for polishing up my resume and letter – hopefully this will lead to a new position soon.

Regards,

Didier J.

Kathy,

Yes I am very please with the outcome. I will review everything over the weekend and send any comments back no later than Monday morning.

Hopefully we can resolve any outstanding items on Monday so I can forward the resume Tuesday.

Thanks again for an outstanding resume!

David K.

Dan,

My resume if anything captures your eye- thanks!

I already have an interview set up…

Thank you so much,

Rebecca H.

Peter,

Two things: Most importantly, I just wanted to let you know that Greg has really exceeded my expectations with the work he’s done preparing my executive bio and resume.
Really, really nice. Worth every nickle.

I hope you recognize his significant and first-rate work!

Please let him know how pleased I am with his work.

Related to the above, I think I’d like to move forward with BOTH an updated LinkedIn profile AND Cover letter.

Here’s a question: Since I’m planning on approaching tier-1 consultancies AND potentially mid-sized companies, do I need TWO cover letters which highlight different strengths?

I realize I’ll have to adjust the cover letters before sending them. Just curious.

Please let me know how to proceed.

Peer B.

Peter-

I wanted to thank you for all of your help on my resume Dan has done a beautiful job on it and I am very pleased.

I need a favor if you know of any very successful companies that can use my expertise I would really appreciate it. I live in Southern California.

Thank you again.

Best regards,

Shane B.
